Leave from Athens via the coastal road going along the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal, which connects the Aegean Sea and Ionian Sea. Drive to Mycenae, the Homeric City of the Atreides - the city "rich in Gold" of the ancient poets. Here you stop to visit the Lions Gate, Cyclopean Walls, Royal Tombs etc before departing to Naphlion nestling at the foot of a cliff crowned by the mighty ramparts of the Palamidi Fortress. After lunch leave for Epidaurus to visit the 4th century BC theatre, famous for its astonishing acoustics.

In the morning transfer by bus from Athens to Piraeus for embarkation on the cruise boat. At 08:15 sail for Hydra. Here you have free time for a walk or a swim. Embarkation and sail for Poros, the smallest of the three islands, separated from the Peloponnese by a narrow strait and offering a most enchanting view of Poros Town. Your time at leisure in Poros will be about 60 minutes. Lunch served during the voyage. Arrive to last port of call, the island of Aegina. Where you have time for a swim. Optional excursion, by bus, to the fine preserved Temple of Afea Athena. Embarkation for the voyage of return to Pireaus/Athens.

Leave Athens and drive South West until we reach the Corinth Canal which connects the Aegean sea with the Ionian sea ( short stop). Drive on and visit the Ancient town of Corinth where St. Paul lived and preached for two years. The remains of the City, which include the Agora (Market place) and Apollo's Temple (6th century B.C.), clearly show how rich and important Corinth was in Ancient Times. A short stop at the Site of the Ancient Port of Cehries, where St. Paul disembarked, will conclude the visit. Return to Athens.

Drive along the coastal road, past the beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza to the most southern point of Attica, Cape Sounion. Here the white marble pillars of the Temple of Poseidon stand.
