Day 01 : Arrival to Zagreb
Meet on your flight arrival to Zagreb Airport and transfer to hotel. Once all participants have arrived, meet for a welcome drink and begin to get to know each other as well as your tour leader, while enjoying a local specialty (D)
Day 02 : Walking Tour of Zagreb then to Opatija
The day begins with a walking tour of Zagreb fortified, medieval Upper Town. Here visit many fine old buildings including St Mark Church. Then time to depart on the drive to the famous spa resort town of Opatija, located on Kvarner Bay. BD
Day 03 : Discover the Istrian Peninsula
The day is devoted to discovering the Istrian Peninsula. First stop in Pula to visit the ancient Roman Colosseum then head on to Rovinj where you have some free time to stroll around and be inspired by this beautiful city. Then head towards Livade for an amazing opportunity to taste truffle. End of day with arrival back to hotel in Opatija. B+Tasting
Day 04 : Stunning Plitvice Lakes
A must see of Croatia is the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park. The 16 lakes are connected by magnificent waterfalls and here we spend a magical 3hours enjoying a stroll along the walkways, a boat ride on the Kozjak, ending with a train ride back to the main entrance. Overnight in the Plitvice area. BD
Day 05 : Historic Zadar & Wine Tasting
A scenic drive down from the mountain region and via the coast takes us to Zadar, a city rich in cultural and historical monuments. Here you will be able to see the Roman Forum, Church of St. Donatus and the famous Zadar Sea Organs. Then head on to the Bibich Winery for wine tasting accompanied by Croatian style tapas. End of day with arrival to hotel in Split. B+Tasting
Day 06 : Explore Split & Trogir
Split is a wonderful tapesty, with buildings from various centuries woven together creating its charm. At its center lies the remains of the Emperor Diocletian Palace. After exploration of Split we head on to Trogir and enjoy a treat of the traditional Dalmatian dish, Pašticada. The town of Trogir has a wealth of palaces & churches to explore before we depart on the return to hotel in Split. BL
Day 07 : Via Ston to Dubrovnik with wine tasting
As we make our way from Split to Dubrovnik, stop near the town of Ston for a visit to a local winery, Pelješac, that has been passed down over many generations. Here a chance to sample some Plavac Mali wine, a tasty snack and presentation on the wine-making process. End of day with arrival to hotel in Dubrovnik. B+Tasting
Day 08 : Old City of Dubrovnik
The old city of Dubrovnik, with its medieval ramparts, has remained largely unchanged since its completion in the 13th century. Here your guide will bring history to life during a walking tour including visit of the Franciscan Monastery. You then have the remainder of the day free to further explore on your own till meeting up for a farewell dinner. BD
Day 09 : Departure
Breakfast, check-out and as per your flight departure time transfer from hotel on to Dubrovnik Airport. *If you wish to extend your time in Croatia or add on travel to another country thereafter just let us know and we will be pleased to help & advise accordingly.
